This will enable us to choose 12 buildings that are best suited for research purposes. So far, this cooperation has resulted in student workshops, meetings, seminars and the construction of experimental buildings.
The research shall be conducted through a collaborative effort between primary investigator Dr Marcin M. Kolakwoski from the University of Lincoln,Dr Magdalena Baborska-Narozny from the University of Sheffield who is an expert in post occupancy evaluation and the monitoring of environmental building performance and Ian Keeling, a Master Student (MSc Sustainable Architectural Design) who has applied to do his PhD at the University of Lincoln who shall add the spirit of ‘student as producer’.
I am writing as Secretary of the Friends of Thimbleby Village. As you know there are a number of mud and stud houses in our village. In the past we have had a demonstration of mud and stud construction and we would like to have this again at our village fete. This is to take place on 11th September. Is it possible some of your students could do this demonstration or do you know of an expert who would be prepared to do this.
I look forward to your reply.
